When i was a kid and saw the Ali vs Superman cover i thought 'That's stupid! Supes would just push a hole thru Ali!' Now i know the folly of youth....
What a great cover by Adams. Anyone know what the story is like? Good, bad, absurd?

We've had more than one Magneto fight on here. Are we going to get the best Magneto fight, from issue #150? Great teamwork from the team, who have all lost their powers (They're shocked to discover that Wolverine's claws are not directly related to his mutant powers, which was totally contradicted starting with #25, which we, alas, we see here). I love fights where we actually understand how tough things are for the heroes and we're surprised to see them win. I read Annihilation, but I don't remember a thing that happened. That was a whole lot of nothing.

Black Manta points out something I'd forgotten, the Wasp taking on Galactus. Predating the Atom bringing down Darkseid by years.

And with the Ali match, was it just being under a red sun? I thought I remembered Kryptonite boxing gloves, but that might have been a different story.

Colossus did save Juggernaut. Selene picked another dude up instead, and instead of getting lucky, he got his life force drained.

It's not mentioned the fact that Colossus was pissy drunk! Full teams of X-Men struggle against Juggernaut, so it was pretty futile for Peter to even bother, but his drunken judgment made him pick the fight.

Didn't Peter inadvertently save Juggernaut's life? The women he was trying to pick up was Selene, who would have drained him dry and left him dead. Right? Or am I misremembering it?

The best part of the Galactus fight is when Doctor Strange shows up and throws the magic acid trip freak out on Big Purple. Making him face the ghosts of everyone he has killed was a bad trip for Galactus.

You forgot to mention Wasp in the Galactus fight. She flew in his helmet and blasted him until he came down to street level. This was my number one pick, probably because I just started reading FF at the time.
