I keep on loaning this trade out and hoping it gets returned, as I would be tempted to abscond with such comedy gold (gold, Jerry!). It’s probably the best “funny” comic I have, and I get those Penny Arcade trades (sorry, guys) AND still have a few Chuck Austen X-titles (funny in a different way).

Good call highlighting Scurvy Dogs. Hands down the funniest book that I’ve ever read. In a perfect world these two creators would be millionaires and I’d be on the Scurvy Dogs ride at Disney, drunk, right now.

Hi, Brian. I met Andrew and Ryan at the Staple! Expo in Austin, TX a couple of years ago. I picked up a copy of American Space Ninja (in Space). It’s just a little ashcan sized comic. If you’ll send me an e-mail, I’ll make a scan of it for you. They published a short story called Team Building Exercise (or something similar – I don’t have it in front of me, and I can’t quite remember) that’s pretty funny as well.

I picked the trade up a while back and was disappointed. It was funny at first, but got old rather quickly. It’s still sitting on my nightstand about half way read. I’ll probably get back to it at some point. Maybe it works better in monthly doses.

I have the Scurvy Dogs miniseries. It was a crazy book. I will have to dig them out and reread the series. I was sorry to see it go.
