Yeah... I loved Angel Love! Recently scored the whole run on eBay... Never got a look at Slate's Marvel work but I'm gonna try to pick it up soon.

My wife's got a bunch of Angel Love comics... Whenever we're cleaning out (and re-bagging where necessary) she always goes "Ah, Angel Love..." whenever we get to it... Nothing more... If I push her, it's like "oh, nothing really, just liked it." One day, I'll read 'em...

I can't believe that Marvel ever STOPPED publishing books like "Barbie Fashion" or "Millie the Model." No wonder sales have been straight down the crapper since the fifties. "Half our audience? Nah, we don't need 'em." Anyway, nice bit. I've always been WAY curious about Angel Love from the house ads you mentioned, but I've never actually seen an issue. I keep figuring that, someday, the three-for-a-buck box is gonnna put out. But no dice.
