Yeah, the main site probably IS more superhero driven, that’s probably fair to say (Note “probably,” as I never really gave it much thought – a quick glance at the current front page for the main site shows a fairly even mix, to be honest – now the CBR FORUMS, they’re DEFINITELY superhero driven – no “probably” there!).

By the way, since I made my comment, we had four more entries, none of which were about superhero comics (okay, one of them was a list of good writers and some of the writers on that list write superhero comics, so maybe that can count as a 1/2! )

On the one hand, I really don’t much care about how other folks choose to categorize this here site. “Comics Should Be Good is all about chicken-farming!” “Okay, see it that way if you’d like.”

On the other hand, take a look at the front page. Right now there are 15 entries on the front page. 7 of them involve superhero comics, 8 do not (unless you really wish to parse words and call John Rozum a “superhero writer” or call Winter Men a “superhero comic”).

It’s not too difficult to see that this is just a plain ol’ comic book site, with a large portion of it being superhero-related, but just as much being about other comics.

There is very little Manga content on this site and the LGBT comic stuff lasted, what, a week? Don’t kid yourself. This is a super-hero comic site. Everything else is secondary.

It very clearly is not. Use a venn diagram if you’re confused. Manga, LGBT and political comics are clearly not in the same subset as superhero comics.

By far the best real life politician in comics was when the FF broke into Doom’s to find the Doctor hanging out with then secretary of state Henry Kissinger. Doom and Kissinger had come to an accord so the FF couldn’t legally touch him.

That’s the “realistic marvel U”? Boy, that Parker kid’s a sloooow learner… Get married to a top model? Nah, dreaming.

He’d have to make a deal with the devil to do that, and he’s way to dumb…
