Frankly,I'm more than a little annoyed that Morrison didn't find some way to bring Batboy back.

I'm with DanLarkin on this one.
He should've at least been one of the fake Batmen that showed up.

If you look carefully, you can see some of the clothing of Batboy in the Zur-En-Arrh costume...

yeah he should at least to be in the play in game for the battle of the cowl. I won't mind seeing him in a one-shot winner take all fight with Thomas Wayne JR.
