Third Time’s the Charm!

I think the third printing of Amazing Spider-Man #583 has the coolest cover of the three (click to enlarge)!

You know what? Sometimes the simplest thing of just flipping a picture along its vertical axis can really make it better…. You’re right, this is a better pic (apart from the un-inked bits again, but anyway)

That, or I’m just suffering overexposure to the other cover…

I think the American Flag is a new addition.

Joke and concept are still corny as ever, but man I have to give Jimenez props on the drawing. And it looks better flipped for some reason.

I’d like the flag without the camera flash lensflare please.

Spidey’s text is changed, too, and for the better if you ask me. (Which you didn’t.) I agree with the flipping being better, too – as a visual gag, it’s just funnier to have Obama coupled with the title on the left side, where most readers’ eyes begin…well, reading. It captures well the joke that Obama’s fame and stature eclipses even Spider-Man…in Spidey’s own book!

Um….the “dot” in the Marvel.com logo looks like something…..something rope-like…..doesn’t it?

Looks like a thermometer to me, what are you getting at Max

Maybe I’m getting old, but I can’t read a damned word of that text.

It’s better because now it LEANS TO THE LEFT!

*massive groaning follows* :D
