kinda sad that you didnt talk about Nuklear Age(his only superhero work)

Just wanted to say that I picked up Atomic Robo issues #1 & #2 for the iPhone last month. (they’re available from iVerse)
This was based on the recommendations from CSBG, CBR and the “I Read Comics” podcast…

I utterly love this comic. It has adapted well to the iPhone, and is such an easy sell-on to other iPhone users (particularly as the first issue is free) I’ve already managed to get three otehr people (two who “don’t read comics”) to download it, and move onto #2.

Now I’m just waiting for all the rest to be converted.

I’m still convinced that the giant ant story will be Atomic Robo’s legacy to the world. I just don’t get tired of that one. (And yes, the second series is also quite good, by the trade when it comes out, and of course be on the look out for the third series later this year.)

Loved the first mini, waiting for the trade (impatiently!) for the second one. Incredibly well-written (and great art, too). This is a great example of how “well-written” doesn’t have to mean “moody, dark, serious”.

The word “rollickin’” was invented to describe Atomic Robo. Yes. With the g left off and everything. It rollicks and rolls.
