It isn't impossible to play a xylophone with three mallets in one hand, by spacing them out between your fingers you are able to chords like you can on a piano. Whether or not such a thing could be done with a tentacle is of course an open question.

Haha, I love that Batman's "just in case" scenarios are, say, "The entire Justice League has gone mad and I have to stop them," whereas Aquaman's losing sleep over the idea that someone, somewhere, is being serenaded with an a capella "Happy Birthday" as compared to the instrumental masterpieces we normally hear once a year.
