:D I have the same problem every week!

Hah! Yup! Been there, done that!
:-)

Was the actual conversation inspired by the scene in Weird Science?
“In your mad rush for power and glory, you forgot one small thing…”

That’s sort of my grown-up equivalent of the “forgot to attend class all semester & now it’s time for the final exam” school dream …

But if I SO could forget to go to work.

Just once, just once that is all I ask ….

Is that the first time the Marissa character has ever laughed? I’ve seen her smirk, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen her laugh. It’s almost creepy.

Unfortunately, Tom, if you’re like most of us, that “just once” is all your employer would need to introduce you to the wonders of job-hunting.

Ha!

That happens to me.

XD Awesome!

By the way Brian,

“You can check out the first thirty-six strips at the archive here and read more about Sean and Brandon at the Comic Critics blog here!”

That should be previous “thirty-seven”! :)

I have forgotten to go to a final exam once. I had to take all my finals early to attend my friend’s going-away party when he joined the Air Force. I scheduled two tests for the same day, finished the first, then headed back to the dorm to pack. I was 3000 miles from school when I realized I still had my final essay in my backpack.

I can beat that. I once thought a morning exam was in the afternoon. It was the multiple choice portion of my Social Studies Diploma Exam at the end of grade 12. I had to do it a month later with the summer school kids. Luckily it was my best class and I was only applying to the Faculty of Arts, so it didn’t affect my ability to get into university.

This comic doesn’t make sense until you’ve read the previous one. I hadn’t before, but now I have.
