So . . . Jamal is Joe?

Scans Daily got shut down? Damn.

Good for Mark and Chad.

This comic was funnier than it had any right to be. Good job.

Don’t forget the funny.

Oh, that is way too damn “inside baseball” funny. But, still, hilarious for us who were part of that particular game.

I like these better when you stick with your characters, very funny.

Having been the one primarily responsible for the kerfuffle over the hooker and the time machine, I got a big chuckle out of this one. Well done.

Net addicts don’t use phones. They text and IM all their convos.

Seriously, very funny. Is the hooker and time machine thing an inside joke that some people are supposed to recognize or no?

Does anybody else hear Randall from “Clerks” whenever Josh speaks?

I agree with Thok…funnier than it deserves to be. Just kinda random but funny.

Presumably, “What does he, live here now?” was supposed to be “What, does he live here now?”

Drancron beat me to it. And Scott MacIver…
No main punchline, but I loved the barrage of chuckles…
Cheers!
:-)

The hooker and time machine thing is one of those things that is funny even if you don’t understand it. That being said, someone care to explain the reference.

Is there more to the “hooker and a time machine” joke than Jamal being a hypocrite (well and the general nonsense)? I presume that he made a comment about an author, a hooker, and a time machine that ends up being similar in style to the die in a fire comment made in reference to Peter David, and the person on the phone is calling him out on that.

“Does anybody else hear Randall from “Clerks” whenever Josh speaks?”

Ha! I thought it was just me.

The hooker and time machine thing is a reference to a Peter David kaffuffle on the CBR boards (and elsewhere) several years ago.
