Most of the anti-Morrison sentiments seem to be a sickly yellowish-green shade of Envy in the Lantern Corps spectrum; jealousy that a different storytelling approach than one’s personal favorite has popularity, and denial of any merits the writer has because of those sour grapes.

What if I just don’t like his writing? Does my opinion of everything have to relate back to Grant Morrison’s level of popularity in online nerddom? “My word, Eustace, this rhubarb pie just isn’t up to the standards of G-Mo’s rhubarb pie, I do declare!”

Hate to break it to you, but the “Apathy Corps” (white) has been a running joke for quite some time now. They even made a symbol and oath.
