Dang secret poll! I'm going to go crazy!

No contest whatsoever. It doesn't even matter which Flash is going to lose; Flash is going to lose.

I know Batman's going to take the tourney, but I voted for Wally anyway, on the off chance that we can end up with something unpredictable.

Although I voted for Flash in this poll, and Captain America in the other I have no idea who I would pick between the two. I hope to have to make that decision though.

Batman/Spider-Man would be an interesting final; and one that I can't easily predict.

Batman/Spider-man is the world's least interesting final, if you ask me.

Sam, I'd be surprised (and somewhat disappointed) if Spidey's popularity surpassed Batman.

It's good for Wally that he's made it this far. DC should check itself before it wrecks itself, as Wally is clearly a lot more popular as the Flash than Barry, and it's quite different to the Kyle/Hal situation. Someone mentioned that it's a small sample size and you can't tell much. There are a good few hundred people voting here. Newsarama's got a pole asking which Flash is the Flash, and after several thousand votes Wally is way ahead. The Flash usually sales, what, about 20,000 to 30,000 copies? That's a decent-sized sample I'd say.

One catch on this tourney is that the vote is based on so many personal reasons. One person may vote for 'who would win in a fight'. Another votes for 'I just like this one better'. A third decides that character A is just cuter than character B. It's a nice wild card tournament all around.

Bats has this one in the bag baby!

probably taking the loser here, only small hope is the wolverine overload backlash that knocked Wolvie out, will work it's way to this one.

for the record though Flash Rebirth was very good book (even though it's not Wally)

Batman would probably outsmart him given half a chance, but I voted for Wally out of love for the character. Besides, even someone as smart as Batman shouldn't really be able to take out a guy who can move faster than light.

[...] So dash over to the poll and vote! [...]

I think you'll find "not paying attention to the rules" to be a "catch" in many things. ;)

"Batman would probably outsmart him given half a chance

It's all about the prep time! :D

I voted Flash, just because I despise Batman.

"I think you’ll find “not paying attention to the rules” to be a “catch” in many things. "

Yeah, I've noticed that a number of posters are still arguing that "so-and-so could NEVER win a fight with so-and-so!" Seriously, it's all spelled out right there in the first post!

I love you Wally, but Bruce is my fictional boyfriend.

I've got a tattoo of the Bat-Symbol on my shoulder, not a lightening bolt. No contest, here.

Go Wally! You can do it! :D

Wa-lly! Wa-lly! Wa-lly!

I also have a bat-symbol tattoo but I voted Flash/Cap.

It'll wane but right now they're probably my top two characters.

Totally off-topic, but... I could have sworn this went up at 11:00 AM Pacific Daylight time, which fits with the 2:00 PM Eastern time (presumably EDT) mentioned in the Final Four post. But now the byline says it was posted at "11:00 AM EST," which doesn't match. I noticed something similar on one of the other tournament posts. So I'm kind of confused here.

I would vote for Spider-Man over Batman. Sure, Bats had the iconicity down, but Spider-Man under Lee and Ditko is by far the most original, interesting and complex superhero ever. Batman's mostly an adolescent fantasy of revenge and dedication; Spider-Man encompasses adolescence, adulthood, family, change and responsibility all in one cool character--and probably a little something called the 20th century, too.

Just a misprint. All the times are Pacific.

It all dends on who does what first, if the Batman knows hes going up against the flash, he's gonna have his utility belt packed with disorientating gas, flash pellets, black out bombs, all kinds of gadgets, plus he'll probally tie up The Flash's feet with his batrangs before he even knows hes hit. If however the flash made the first move, and caught Batman unsuspecting, the the Batman would be literally beat to the ground with a pummel of flash fists. However my final vote will still go to The Batman simply for his use of detective skills to uncover and manuipulate flashs disadvantages.
