What? No more Binky? Just when it was getting really scary!

How is Binky “scary?” A Geoff Johns book is scary. Binky’s awesome.

The sad thing is that, for the actual readers in 1961, the moon tours were probably a lot more believable than the concept of a woman doctor.

Now I want to see a Geoff Johns Binky:Rebirth series. Really.

You can’t stop now! They still haven’t revealed that Allergy is the living embodiment of the Anti-Life Equation!

Binky may return in the future, but just not as a daily thing!

just let johns figure out which supporting character to kill/maim/rape to give binky a proper modern-day motivation and we’ll see it soon!

Is that Richard Nixon congratulating Tom?
Have a good day.

Rather farfetched. There’s no way two people would be able to have a face to face conversation through some magic screen.

Aww, no more Binky? This was a cool little feature.

So, while the other two kids imagine themselves curing disease and creating new technologies, Allergy pictures himself as a tour-boat operator? Man, that kid’s got self-esteem issues.

He owns a tour bus TO THE FRICKIN’ MOON in his fantasy. THE MOON. And he’s not just the operator, he’s the owner of the whole business. In 1961, how is that not an ambitious goal? Shit, it’s an ambitious goal NOW.

Also, given that manned travel to the moon didn’t happen until 1969 and this strip takes place in 1961, I’m guessing Allergy was also planning to singelhandedly invent manned space travel to the moon as well. If anything the kid has rabid delusions of grandeur, not low self-esteem. The other kids’ goals pale in comparison.

Note that in his delusions of grandeur, Allergy seems himself with a NORMAL tie, nor the godforsaken thing his parents force him to wear…
He probably killed them both when he got older. And Binky too.
Best,

I have no idea why that observation fascinates me, but it does…

I was having major problems with my son’s binky addiction! My friend absolutely raved about the cut method, and all of the psychology behind it. She emailed me a link to a site that has a free publication ( http://www.bye-bye-binky.com -supported by advertisements) on dropping the binky, so I tried it. Very cool stuff, worked beautifully for my son. Four days later he did not want anything to do with his binky. Highly recommended! I am also interested in others experiences with this method…. Bella
