Bryan Lee O’Malley Draws Kitty Pryde!

And you can check it out right here. It’s part of an art show called Full of Pryde, which served as a benefit for the Oregon Hemophilia Treatment Center. O’Malley’s one of a number of cartoonists and graphic designers involved, including Jeffrey Brown, Dan Hipp, and Brandon Graham. Tom Neely’s winds up contributing my favorite piece.

You can check out more of the entries here, and if you can afford it, bid on the original art on ebay.

That Tom Neely page is brilliant! Thanks for bringing it to my attention!

Yeah, Tom Neely’s is my favorite by a mile. I need to see what else he’s done!

I also liked Ross Campbell’s and Joelle Jones’s work. The great Steve Lieber does a nice job with the John Byrne story one.

Some of them (Zachary Baldus and Ian McEwan) strike me as creepy, and not in a good way.

I just about love them all, and would kill to own any of those pieces.

Wrong Lieber, Dan. That’s actually Stanley Lieber. I don’t believe he’s any relation to Steve Lieber or Stan Lee. :)

Oh, you’re right! Sure fooled me!

Well, Steve Lieber is still great, and now I have another new artist to look into!

This page popped up in my google alerts. Thanks for liking my Kitty Pryde. It was a fun piece to do.
