Even that Silver Age work horse Various gets that distinction (when is Scott doing a spotlight on him/them?) I just really like the implication of that.

I really feel like the time is coming for a critical reappraisal of Various’ oeuvre. The versatility on display there is just remarkable.

Indeed. I hear he often works for Alan Smithee.
