For a sec I thought the S Canadian artist was going to be Dave Sim, and...well, 'nifty' is probably not Sim's most received adjective.

An inspiring choice for "S"
I've been a long time Seth fan ever since I saw his work in Drawn & Quarterly. His linework is some of the best on the market, matching his ever brilliant storytelling. I've met him at 2 signings and he's just one of the kindest creators out there.

Check out this way cool Marvel work ala Seth:

That first story was lovely.
These "Comic Book Alphabet of Cool" posts are really good and not at all obvious.
I learn something new with each one.

Bill, apparently the name change is something he regrets a little now. He adopted the Seth nom de plume quite some years ago. His influences were different, his current aesthetic not quite the same. Seth seemed appropriate at the time. These days, if it weren't "too late" to alter what is now established (and trying not to speak for the man), I suspect he'd rather return to his ,indeed, very nifty given name.

I still don't know why he chose the pseudonym "Seth" over his already awesome given name.
