So THAT's what a Sleestak is?

Our buddy Sleestak at the neat comic book-related blog Lady, That's My Skull should appreciate the fact that on the TV show Land of the Lost, future NBA All-Star Bill Laimbeer actually played a Sleestak!!
I just thought that that was way too trippy to not share with you all!

Land of the Lost was probably the best Krofft TV show, at least when it came to doing it seriously (the rest of their stuff was way pretty trippy.) I'm kinda sad to see it reinvented as just another Will Farrell vehicle. I wouldn't be surprised if the Slesstak started playing basketball in the movie.

I think Land of the Lost is being rerun by one of the channels carried by my cable provider.
