looks like Sam Hiti and Paul Pope had a baby.Too bad the cars are drawn in a photo realistic style while the characters are all noodlly

Whoever said he’s ripping off Paul Pope is doesn’t know how to draw. He has his own fresh style. It’s more animated in comparison to Popes. Pope gets more detailed and structure wise, nothing even close to Toby. The heavy dark strokes might look similar but they use them differently.

learn how to draw first before you decipher styles.

Im sick of people ripping off Paul Pope, get your OWN style as in a NEW style, one that isn’t allready being done better by the person who created it. Seriously I’m not buying any books that have rip off artists work, oops I take that back I bought that issue of HM a couple months ago and it had another Paul Pope rip off artist that even made the cover, oh well, just stop biting people

So far, so very good.

I didn’t realize Cypress had worked with Brian Wood. I’ll have to hunt down a copy of The Tourist.

It looks really good but I really need to see work that is colored. I have seen art in this series of articles and I am like pretty good…..then you get to some colored work. THEN I am impressed. I humbly suggest that if a featured artist has any colorized work you show at least one pic of it.
