This is my first time looking at Tim’s art since those issues of Wonderman (and wow… that book actually made it past issue 12?). That is some gorgeous work, and I personally think it looks best in the black and white pages you posted.

I used to really enjoy Hamilton’s work on Trouble with Girls. I was away from comics for much of the early 90s so I missed his superhero work. Definitely interested by the Farenheit 451 adaptation (on of my favorite books).

This is the first time I’ve seen Hamilton’s work, and — wow — I’ve been missing out.

Those are some superb pages. The Treasure Island excerpts, in particular, are absolute knockouts.

I’ll have to check out Fahrenheit 451.

I just wanted you to know that the first pages you show (from the Trouble with Girls Marvel mini series) was not drawn by me. I think Brett blevins did that. I’ll send you some “Trouble” Pages by me if you want them.

It’s really hilarious, I got up this morning and realized, “Wait a sec, there were TWO Trouble with Girls series – I hope I put up pages from the right #1″ and I went to check and saw I put up the wrong ones and I hoped I could take it out before it was too noticeable, and of course, you happened to already have seen it by then!

Hilarious (embarrassing for me, but still hilarious)!

Okay, I’m not insane! I was looking at those pages and thinking, “wow, this guy started off his career aping Blevins more than any artist ever aped another artist! (Then he suddenly got his own style later)” The actual Hamilton pages are beautiful! (as are the Blevins pages, of course)
