Who’s Jughead?

Hmm, that can’t be right. I don’t want to kick Archie in the chest NEARLY as much as I want to kick Peter Parker in the chest.

Wow, Steve, that took just as much effort as your performance in the Police Academy series. ZING!

Seriously, though, this is obvious to anyone who’s ever read the Stan/Romita Sr. run.

Wolverine is Jughead.

Think about it.

It would explain the similar headwear.

Unnnnnnh, are you guys sure that Wolverine isn’t MOOSE?

If Peter = Archie, then
MJ = Veronica (minus the money)
Gwen = Betty, except she’s dead (and cloned)
Harry = Jughead, except when crazy
Flash = Reggie, except when… actually, always.

And so on and on… :P

I’d say Flash has got some Moose in him, and Harry is more of a Reggie than a Jughead.

J. Jonah Jameson is Mr. Weatherbee, of course.

…and the Coffee Bean is the burger joint.

Ohmigawd. It all makes sense.

Aunt May bears a striking resemblance to Miss Grundy.

Ironically, Archie’s getting married as we speak…

So what’s the Spiderman equivalent of “Archie meets the Punisher”?

I dunno, I heard there was a comic lately where Archie got engaged or something. Peter would never do that.

If JJJ is Weatherbee…then Betty Brant would be Miss Grundy…

…eeeeyeeeewwwww…

I’ve always felt that there are two types of fans- Betty/Gwen/Lana people and Veronica/MJ/Lois people. The first group annoys the hell out of me.

Dan: What about us Cheryl/Kitty*/Lori people, then?

* Prior to Ultimate Spider Man, we were in the party of Black Cat.

@ Jeff R- you guys are just crazy!
