Better covers through logo placement

The trade dress really makes this one a winner.

I dunno, we're still looking right at Venom's area.

It's insane, this symbiote's taint!

Bad touch! Bad touch!

This piece of crap is both poorly designed and poorly executed. It looks like he bagged himself on the logo and it caused him to barf up a giant crab claw and a pack of peppermint life savers. If you dug up Jack Kirbys dead hand, put a pencil in it, and ran some electricity through it, it would turn out a better cover!

Reminds me of that Marvels cover featuring Hank Pym.

Why does he have a bullseye on his palm?

The bullseye is Bachalo's signature.

Huh. Okay. Personally, I think it's too big and distracts from the main image. But maybe that's just me.

But what gams, huh?

Define trade dress.

appropriate that they have the logo label over Venom's most Sinister part....

Terradaloo the Bob

Does anybody else think the face looks like the Tick?

Also: Is this a common trade dress for this event, or did they just have to stick the logo in the middle because there wasn't room at the top?

Chris Butcher's gonna call us homophobes again for this, Bill. Thanks.

Well, to be more accurate, I think he was criticizing us for not knowing what penises looked like in underwear? I forget.

If you dug up Vince Colletta's dead arse, stuck a brush in it and made it fart, it would turn out a better cover--!! But that's pretty much been the case with almost every Marvel and DC cover from the last 25-30 years, so what else is new?
