Death of Danny the Street’s Inspiration

(Thanks to onion3000 for the heads up) Danny La Rue, the famous singer and drag queen who was the inspiration for Grant Morrison’s Danny the Street character in Doom Patrol (Danny “La Rue” translates directly into Danny “the Street”), passed away yesterday at the age of 81. R.I.P. Mr. La Rue!
