I was able to view the magazine from the other side of the world…
But all I could see was a one page pic for the mag – is that all?

Filthy Rich looks good.
I also like that Vertigo is trying out the “graphic novel” thing. Full, complete, self contained stories give a good fix and a nice change of pace.
I like the serialized floppy format of course, but with grotesque unnecessary price increases in many of the floppies, these stories (assuming their quality is good, but Azzarello has never let me down comics wise and Ian Rankin is a darn good novelist) help making the transition to totally trade waiting a lot easier to digest. I wonder who else is going but I like the total pulp direction these books are currently being offered in.
I’ll happily snap these up while waiting in between issues of Blackest Night, and for the overpriced Marvel TPBs to hit the clearance rack after being priced out of my budget upon release. Most of the new floppies from Marvel have already been purged from my pull. Vertigo is giving good value for the money so far. May it continue….

Hi,
Web content editor at DRIVEN here.
You can (or should be able to) see the online version of the mag from anywhere.
Our Summer issue features an 1-page teaser poster for Filthy Rich (you can flip through the online version of the mag to page 62). You can zoom in on the page using our online interface.
There’s also a smaller Santos piece on the contributor’s page (page 14) and a couple of snappy bios of A. and S.
And while I’m promotin’, page 18 cracks me up, but it’s not directly comics-related.
