Win an Autographed Copy of Was Superman a Spy!

Comic Book Resources is running a contest where five lucky winners will receive free autographed copies of my book, Was Superman a Spy? and Other Comic Book Legends Revealed!

Enter here.

The contest is open to all citizens located in the United States, Canada, Great Britain, Australia and New Zealand.

The rest of us aren’t worthy?

Does Puerto Rico count? We are American Territory, but sometimes contest rules can’t seem to make their minds about it.

I’m very disappointed that readers from Europe (Germany in my case) can’t join the contest.

Me too. I’m from france but i read mainly english sites for info, and every single contest shuns poor old Europe. I wonder if it is for legal reasons…

Anyway, good luck everyone. I’ve been following the comics urban legends from the start, and i’m sure it will be a good read!

Ah, dammit. I sent my details without seeing the rule about location.

Only Great Britain of all of Europe? There is life elsewhere!

Life yes, but not important life ;)

It seems like a weirdly arbitrary rule to limit the contest to English-speaking countries only. I don’t think it costs much less to ship a book to Britain than to ship it to other European countries. I’d understand if the contest was limited to the US and Canada due to shipping costs, but this seems like a case of “non-Anglos don’t matter”.

Typical anglo-saxonic mentality. Well, no big deal since I already got the book.

(To be fair, most comic contests sponsored by french-language publishers are only open to France, Belgium and Switzerland, but at least those countries are close together. Australia and New Zealand are MUCH farther from the US than I am!)

Hunter (Pedro Bouça)

I bet there’s a lot of us (non anglo-saxonic people) reading this blog daily.

“on a daily basis”
