If you thought that Chaka Khan was offensive, you must have forgotten about Cage’s pal DW Griffith, the manager (projectionist?) at the movie theater Cage lives above.

DW Griffith was one of the earliest superstars of filmmaking. He’s most famous for directing Birth of a Nation, which chronicles the rise of the Ku Klux Klan in the south, and is often credited with reinvigorating the Klan’s popularity in the early part of the century.

I’ve heard that this was addressed later on, but I don’t know that I’ve seen it.

I’m not familiar with Danielson really, having little to no experience with ROH (sadly). But, I can’t really argue with your list — though Evan Bourne is a little bit of a surprise.

And you should check out more Avatar-published Ellis stuff since, after Marvel and DC, they’ve done the most.
