More Hulk Promos

Marvel sent along a couple more promos for their upcoming "Fall of the Hulks" storyline.

If you had to guess, how long do you think the current Rick Jones as Abomination status quo will last?

Is it just me or has the Hulk line gotta incredibly convoluted since the World War Hulk crossover?

Well, it went from one book to two. That likely complicates things.

Who know about Rick status, in his life he had been pretty much everything, except mutant. And then he had gone back being the old good Rick Jones. But considering that the old Abomination is still dead....

Marvel has more used to be dead brought back to life and totally changed characters than anything I've ever seen. I stopped reading current Marvel some time ago and when I see all the changes that have been made to long standing characters it really shows that they don't give a fuck about continuity. Storyline is second to sales and all they want to do is have main characters killed off so they get a zippy cover blurb just to have that supposedly major plot point undone a short time later. Blech...I don't like it. It had been done before from time to time in the 60's, 70's, and 80's but int he 90's and then the last decade (whatever you call it) it has become a plauge upon the various lines of Marvel comics. Too much bullshit.

This whole "Red Rulk/Son of Hulk/Red She-Hulk" mess is so bad it almost looks like a DC comic.

I thought it was fairly obvious that the gamma radiation in World War Hulk #5 changed Rick. I thought Incredible Hulk #600 basically confirmed it. Why mess with the obvious solution?

Anyway, I also see Rick as the murder victim in "Fall." I can't see who else that could die that would cause the rest of the Hulks to go nuts.

Any given month it seems more like there are at least four Hulk books, one way or another. I think the whole notion of "the Hulk line" is the problem.

Geeze, am I the only person that has been enjoying the Hulk line of books? Aside from red Hulk, they've pretty much all been written by Pak, Van Lente and Parker, who do nothing but write good comics. I've even enjoyed Loeb on Rulk for the most part. I think they're a lot of fun.

So, in the Marvel universe, four-star generals wear kimono-tops to work?

Isn't General Ross a senior citizen? Does McGuiness have any idea how to draw regular men who aren't bloated bodybuilders on steroids?

Well, it went from one book to two. That likely complicates things.

More importantly, one of the writers is Loeb. Even on one book that likely complicates things.

rick status being the new Abomanition will last as long as marvel wants it to last. unless he does turn out to be the one killed that sets off fall of the hulks. and having a red version of she and hulk is kind of making the hulk universe become too many cooks in the kitchen for red hulk was fine but red she hulk is over kill.

@ Chad.

Just wondering, can you use punctuation? It would make your comments much easier to read, as right now, i just skip what you write. i would really appriciate the effort. Thanks! :]
DFTBA

Ross is a 3-star. I don't know why Marvel can't make up its mind on his rank, branch of service, or uniform.

Wait, Doc Sampson is a villain? Boo! He's much better as shrink to the super-heroes. (read X-Factor analysis issue from him and JoeyQ if you need proof)

Agreed. He wasn't often used well, but he was filling a niche that no other character was. Now he's a superstrong supervillian? Yawn.

Omar Karindu, with the power of SUPER-hypocrisy!

Also, "villainized?" Really, Marvel?

Three titles, if you count the soon-to-be-ending Son of Hulk series, though that hasn't tied or figured directly into the other two titles at all, yet..
