The “friendly fire” arc of DMZ (issues 18 to 22) should be considered one of the tops 100 arcs. The story is a viseral portrayal of how media, emotions, and politics can really charge a group of people for a specific cause.
I alos want to nominate the “Operation: Storm Front” arc of Queen and Country (issues 16 to 20). Another great story of how emotions and politics mix for some pretty bad consequences.
