Lots of vegetarians have no problem cooking and preparing meat dishes for their loved ones. So, grilling steaks means nothing. And I’m sure he was aware of the lard, but he isn’t THAT strict of a vegetarian.

If J’onn is a vegetarian, then nobody better tell him that all those Oreos he wolfed down in the 80′s were made with lard (pork fat)!

Perhaps a good number of the vegetarian side dishes were spared from destruction. And I don’t believe dessert had been laid out yet either. I think they were good to go.

i would go for the looks on klarnak and the warlocks face when they figure out that maybe they should not have crashed the party with all those hero’s ready to eat . that and also love bat man going i told you so cracking a smile.

J’onn said he was a vegetarian during the JLI “Breakdowns” storyline. He scolds L-Ron for disturbing the ducks in the pond behind the cabin he’s residing in and, when L-Ron points out that he was merely procruing some supper for his greenness, J’onn reacts in disgust at the very notion as he is a vegetarian.

And yeah, I had to check to see that it wasn’t McGuire. And I also would love to see more of his work.

It just reminded me of Giffen & McGuire’s Justice League so very much, and that’s not a criticism as I enjoyed it immensely when it came out and still enjoy rereading it today. So I’d view this as both one big moment and a homage as well. But if I had to pick one moment that stood out Superman cracking his knuckles was eloquent beyond words.

Though it’s not really a moment, I also liked the first time the two teams get together for Thanksgiving. Batman won’t leave monitor duty to join the others for dinner, and instead of futilely trying to convince him, Mr. Terrific just brings him a plate of food.

I love this issue! Kramer’s art is very reminiscent of Kevin Maguire’s JLI. The facial expressions are great. And it also reminds me of the classic JLA/JSA crossovers of yore. The only downside is that most of these characters are no longer with us, as is par the course for comics nowadays.

Y’know, seeing Power Girl with her abnormally and unusually larger than triple DDD cup silicone-implanted breasts and a bowl over her head, seems wrong in sooooo many ways than I can count.

Then seeing the not-so Wonderful Wonder Woman looking not herself besides PG, seems absolutely right.

I love Don Kramer’s art. Especially his recent stuff on JSA Vs. Kobra.

Somehow he seems to capture PowerGirl’s look in a way that she looks more heroic than “cheesecake-y”…
