Actually Jacques Derrida was from Algeria. He had French citizenship but did not actually come to France until he was old enough for military service, sometime after WWII. He also had a great fashion sense and I’m not so sure he’d have word a vertical black and white suit unless it was custom tailored from the finest materials.

Hey, it’s my first FVL comic!
I love Action Philosophers–so what’s the skinny on the big hardcover collection? It was supposed to come out before Christmas 2009.

Too be fair, Mary, though he is a character who deserves his own comic book, Voltaire is probably not studied widely in philosophy departments as he is in literature and intellectual history departments.
