Wow 99 comic critics….and I think 33 of them have had the exact same punch line.

can not belive already at 99 and the creators of the strip have not had the characters go postal yet over the state of things with marvel and dc and endless cross overs forever

LOL Can I say that I have fallen into this same trap / said this same thing at my LCS too? Too funny…

@Chad : well Chad they haven’t gone postal on any of the current things at Marvel or DC because they don’t actually talk about anything, they just talk about talking about bad comics and they’ve done it week after week after week.

It’s starting to feel like an irony zone

Garfield is fat, Dilbert hates his job, and the Comics Critics loathe comics but keep spending money on them. “Funny” comic strips tend to remain status quo.

are we considering this comic strip funny? just wonderin’….

I miss the parodies that Whitmore used to write on the CBR message boards, as they were about 99% funnier than most of the strips here.

If you guys are such masters of comedy then write your own webcomics. Comics Critics isn’t the funniest thing I read, but after the first 10 or so which were very hit or miss they have always gotten at least a smirk from me.

I suppose the real irony is people continuosly complain about the quality of a strip because the strip continuosly complains about the quality of other strips.
Thats quite meta.

“99 comic critics on the wall …”
“98 comic critics on the wall …”
“97 comic critics on the wall …”

ad infinitum

Wow, we’re jerks.

i actually love everyone!

Man do I hate that “if you don’t like it why don’t you do better” argument, it’s such a weak and lazy point of view to take.

My experience of something is enough for me to make a valid (to me) judgment regarding it.

I agree 100%. I can’t sing for shit but I can still tell when someone else is singing out of tune.
