Still Crazy After All These Years…

Yep, so it’s come to this…SIX years of Comics Should Be Good! Six years ago today this little ol’ blog was started up by Alex, Joe, two Pauls, Tadhg and myself (with a super cool name picked out by Joe). Thanks guys, for starting this place up with me! We’ve come a long way from being a blog just devoted to Joe Rice’s hatred of the Irish!

Thanks to all of our regular folks – our two Gregs (Burgas and Hatcher), Brad Curran, Bill Reed, MarkAndrew, Danielle Leigh, Scott, Chad Nevett, Kelly Thompson and out latest contributor, Sonia Harris!

Plus, semi-frequent reviews from Michelle and Melinda!

Not to mention contributions from Alex, Joe, Paul Teel, Pol, Paul McEnery, Tadhg, Tom, Chad, Christopher, Harvey and Marionette.

Plus, of course, the features we host here (or have hosted), like Sean and Brandon’s Comic Critics, Kelly, Sue and Maddy’s 3 Chicks Review Comics podcast, Dean Trippe’s The Good Stuff, John Seavey’s Storytelling Engines, Kethylia’s Manga Mondays and Lorendiac’s Lists.

Thanks to Jonah for hosting the blog at Comic Book Resources and to Stephen for keeping everything running smoothly!

Thanks, also, to all those folks who come by to read our ramblings!

Thanks to the sites that link to us.

Oh, thanks to those folks who bought my book!

And thanks to anyone else that I forgot to thank!

These past six years have been a blast, and I hope…okay, I’m pretty darn certain that the fun will not stop any time soon.

Awesome. Congrats!

Yay, Happy Birthday!!!

Hooray! I’m still a regular!

Thank you guys! Congrats!

and our two latest contributors, Chad Nevett, Kelly Thompson and Sonia Harris!

Uh oh, one of us is getting fired!

Reffing Paul Simon instead of Bob Dylan? Bold.

Congrats, guys!

To be my anal retentive self, it’s amusing that you list 3 people after saying “our 2 newest contributors”. But Chad, Kelly, and Sonia are the newest people here? Man, it seems they’ve been on forever. My memory’s going, I must be old.

Congrats! I love everything about this site! Keep it up!!!

Oops, thanks, Travis, I fixed it.

Best damm comics blog. You guys are awesome, and have introduced me to all sorts of great stuff in comics. To many more!

So which one of us is Cousin Oliver?

Congrats, guys!

You’re totally gonna need a new sidebar logo now.

Yay! Congrats to everyone, so glad to be involved here (even if it is less than I would like these days).

Congrats on 6 years!

Wow, you scared me at first, the tone of this post almost sounded like you were going to shut it down. This is my favourite blog since the Ninth Art website (which wasn’t a blog, but… yeah).

Here’s to six…ty more years!

Herzlichen Glückwünsch … happy birthday-

Congratulations, guys! Best.Comics Blog.Ever :-)

Congratulations, and thanks to all of you for bringing us so many years of comics-related fun. May you go on for many, many years more! :)

Parabéns!

Thank you, this is my favourite blog.

Fantastic. CSBG will never die!

In the two years I’ve been following CSBG it has been consistently informative and entertaining. The articles here have expanded my knowledge and appreciation of comic books ten-fold.

Keep up the good work, and congratulations on your six year mark!

Congratulations, happy b-day/anniversary and all that, and thanks to Brian & everyone else for a fantastic blog!

This is one of my favorite sites on the whole internets. Keep up the good work, all, and thanks!
