Males are not required to take the bait simply because a female is available. If he’s “utterly bored with her” then he made the right choice.

Good visual storytelling with this strip. If you removed the balloons, you’d be able to tell what’s (mostly) happening.

It’s better this way. When I was 26, I was settling down for bed one night when I suddenly remembered a conversation from when I was 15. I didn’t know it at the time, but a girl I thought was cute was clearly hitting on me. It actually took 11 years to realize she was into me.

josh got so wrapped up in his work that he winds up setting a new record of blowing it with a woman who was interested. poor josh he is going to be alone again.
