Name That Iron Fist Artist!
All November-long, I will be sharing four panels featuring a comic book character. They will each be drawn by four separate pencilers. I will be featuring only pieces of art where the penciler did full pencils (as otherwise it would be way too difficult). Your challenge is to, simply put, name that artist!
E-mail me your guesses to bcronin@comicbookresources.com. Do NOT make guesses in the comments section! After a week, I’ll post the correct answers on the archive page along with whoever guessed them correctly. You don’t have to name the issues the panels came from, but if you’d like to, knock yourself out.

I made a guess, and I’m amazed I can even guess a little bit, because I don’t think I own any Iron Fist, really.

Every time I come to one of these pages, I have it in my head which artists I’m going to see, and I’ve been wrong every single time.

I like the fourth one quite a bit, although I have no guesses as to the artist. Pretty sure I know the third one, but the bulky muscles are throwing me off.

The only one of those comics I actually have is #2, though I may be able to make educated guesses for most of the others. This is a hard feature for me overall, because there aren’t a lot of artists I can identify at a glance and there are tons of artists from the last 20 years especially whom I don’t know by name to begin with.

Is it me or Iron Fist has had constant coloring mistakes, more so than many other characters?

Without context we can’t really tell if #4is a coloring mistake. I remember there was an old issue of X-Men where whenever Wolverine went into a berserker rage and killed someone they colored everything in the panel a shade of red, out of context that would look like a mistake. Maybe the guy who’s watching Iron Fist has had his perceptions altered. The whole panel does seem more purple than is should be.

Now that I know the answer, I can see #1.
Wow, I made terrible guesses, actually.
Did you know that the artist on #3 was on Jeopardy in the last year or 2? I don’t think he won, but it was pretty cool that he was on.

Other than image number 1, which is okay, the rest are absolutely horrible. There have been some very fine artists that have drawn Iron Fist. These four aren’t among them.
