Name That Hal Jordan Artist!
All November-long, I will be sharing four panels featuring a comic book character. They will each be drawn by four separate pencilers. I will be featuring only pieces of art where the penciler did full pencils (as otherwise it would be way too difficult). Your challenge is to, simply put, name that artist!
E-mail me your guesses to bcronin@comicbookresources.com. Do NOT make guesses in the comments section! After a week, I’ll post the correct answers on the archive page along with whoever guessed them correctly. You don’t have to name the issues the panels came from, but if you’d like to, knock yourself out.
Read on for the four Green Lantern (Hal Jordan) panels…

Ohhhh, man, again, I’m THIS close to knowing these!
I love how happy Hal is in #2!
#3 shows us that Hal’s fav’rit comics character is the Thing, but he can’t quite remember his catch phrase just right. “It’s worrying time!” should be, I dunno, Kierkegaard’s rallying cry or som’in’.

For once I can’t blame my inability to identify these on all these newfangled artists. I especially should know #2.

I was so hoping this would be four panels of Hal getting bonked on the head.

I’m with the Mutt. How come he’s conscious in all those panels?

#4 looks like an artist who as far as I’m aware has never worked for DC.

It’s unbelievable how tough it was and remains, for artist to really manage to draw HJ’s mask properly

Don’t know who drew image number one but Green Lantern’s head just looks odd. It’s as if the face and the hair don’t belong together….creating a somewhat big head. Or maybe Hal Jordan used too much conditioner?
