Crumb, Harvey Kurtzman, Alan Moore, Stan Lee, Will Eisner, Fredric Wertham, Roy Lichtenstein, Art Spiegelman, Hergé, Osamu Tezuka — and more! “Done with wit, energy, a healthy dose of insolence and a dedication to getting it right.” — NPR. Collects Comic Book Comics #1-6.

And here is the cover…

Sweet! I couldn’t find the single issues at my LCS, but this collection will be at the top of my must-read list!

Why the title change?

Because Comic Book Comics doesn’t tell you anything about the book.

How much is it?

How much does it cost?

@Nathan
You can get it for 99 cents per issue on Comixology right now. Not sure how long that price will last.

I loved this series. Wish I’d waited for trade though, as it’s just the kind of thing that makes the most sense to have as a book.

Downloaded from Comixology (99 cents per issue. Awesome!) and am absolutely loving it. Some stuff I knew, most I didn’t. Buy this any way you can.

Bought a couple of issues and have been looking for issue 6 (? available) – great to see this wonderful series is going to be in a collected edition. They have been hard to find.. not least because of the title which doesn’t make it easy as a keyword search on ebay etc

Ryan Dunlavey’s panels in this and their its predecessor, Action Philosophers, are absolutely brilliant and a perfect compliment to Lente’s scholarly narrative. I have the periodicals but I just may pick up the collected volume if it contains exclusive material. Odd that its being released by IDW. Does that mean Evil Twin is no more?

No question that I’ll be getting this, but WHEN?
