Oh my God. All of those are really fantastic… I wanted to say Batman / Nemesis was my favorite, but then I kept going, and I just don’t know. Really really great work everyone!!
I think the two Batmans might still be my favorites… The styles of both are just perfect for the characters. Like the DD as well, but I’m a huge DD fan. Nice choice to go with the armor.

Wow, a ton of great work here, but I especially loved Jason’s Black Knight. You have a hell of an eye for design Jason; fantastic job.

This is just unfair. They’re all so good! HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO CHOOSE?! *sob* *choke*
Here again, it’s been so long that I looked and said “Wonder Woman vs. Hela! Gee, that’s cool!” before I remembered that I actually suggested it. And there are *two* of them! And they’re awesome.
The Avengers vs. Crime Syndicate matchup is a brilliant idea.
Tough competition, man. They’re all just so polished and strong.

I really dig the Batman/Mysterio crossover. It reminds me of a Marshall Rogers, and that’s certainly a good thing in my book.

Jeez…now my mouth is watering for Marvel vs DC 2…..Access Boogaloo.. The artists are not making this cut down decision very easy on Brian or us…

That’s what I was going for, Cass, so it’s cool to hear I pulled it off!

Everyone did a nice job this week, but I especially love Bill Walko’s piece. It’s too funny/clever for words.
Man, is Hela really dressing that skimpy these days? When did THAT happen?

Bill Walko and John Trumbull really bring it home for me this week.

Cynthia Rodgers’ WW cover is the most fanservicey thing ever. And that isn’t a criticism.

I have to go with the DD one. All of em are straight up awesome, but I have to give props for the risky choice of going with Armored DD. Big risk equals big reward.

awesome work from everyone once again, who ever gets it, will deserve it, there is no doubt about it.

Yeah, Matt, I also admired the choice of going with the considerably lesser costumes for both DD and Catwoman in that pic.

I like John Trumbull’s interpretations of Mysterio and Batman. Definitely Rogers influence going on there, with a twist of Ditko for good measure on Mysterio! I really like Bill Walko’s illustration, which is also nicely done, and I did Marko’s energy, but the Batman piece is my pick. It has energy, dynamics and visual clarity. Great execution.

I keep coming back to this page. These really are all pretty outstanding.
For me, I particularly like Jason Gonzalez ‘s Black Knight.
I also like Josh Gowdy’s take on the Thing… he looks a lot more monstrous than usual, but not freakishly so… It reminds me why normal people are sometimes scared of him in the Marvel Universe.
The only thing that keeps taking me out of the Batman/Mysterio piece is that Batman’s left fist seems huge and stretchy… it looks more like it belongs on Reed Richards… otherwise, I have to agree that it is a great piece.
I wonder what Kelly Thompson thinks of those Hela vs. Wonder Woman pieces, especially Cynthia Rodgers’? I’d like to hear her take on them.

I am limiting myself to two: Bill Walko and Daniel Cox. Completely different styles but both brought that little something extra.
Everyone did a fantastic job again, though. Really good crop of artists here just nailing it every week.

Artistically, they all succeed, but my favorite based on art style, attitude, and inventiveness has to be Bill Walko. Bravo! Best parts: Raven reading Sylvia Plath (so true!) and Mother still trying to help out her son. It’s heartwarming.

Tough call, and I’ll go with Cynthia’s, but this was my favorite week by far. I kept hoping as I scrolled down that the pics wouldn’t end! The CS vs. original Avengers was also great, and Power Ring had a very cool Gil Kane/GL vibe to him. I would buy every single one of these books just based on the artwork.

I enjoyed most all of them, but Daniel Cox’s Wonder Woman v. Hela was the winner for me. Dark and forboding, but more details the more I look at it. On the other end of the ‘dark and gritty’ spectrum is Jason vs Teen Titans. That came in second.

Nice work all around.
Totally blown away by Doc Savage vs Venom as per my suggestion. Fantastic!
And to boot, I just checked out Axel’s website. I’m going to have to suggest some robot drawings because Axel is amazing at them.
I also really like the detailed list from Bill Walko’s Titans the 13th. So fitting.

Bill Walko and Cynthia Rogers are great. Thea’s looks like the real thing.
Thea’s gotta make it to the final list or whatever. She should just for the fact she’s a woman and all. You guy’s are harping on an on about female creators. Here she is with better art than a lot of mainstreamers and consistant artists on the line is drawn.
Bill’s is just plan great. Concept is spot on, the art is simple bu the expressions say a lot. He should be featured too.

While skimming the comments quickly, I do have to confess that when I saw people saying they were “fans of the DD one”, I DID think they were talking about Wonder Woman and Hela…….
