See this column to read the background behind this scene from Adventure Comics #326 (written by Jerry Siegel and drawn by John Forte), but right now, what I want to know is – what music would you play if you were the DJ at at an Evil Girl Legionnaires Party?

I’d start off with “All Tomorrow’s Parties” and keep playing some Nico-era Velvet Underground before moving on to some heavier stuff.

The proper bad girl music would be some smoky jazz or in a pinch Portishead, but you can’t really throw a party like the one pictured with it.
So I guess I’ll have to go with something edgier but danceable. Slits, Kleenex/LiLiPUT, Malaria!, Lydia Lunch, Delta 5, Lizzy Mercier Descloux, Ideal…hmm, this is an idea for a mix CD

Given Supergirl’s line, clearly it must be “Happy Happy Joy Joy” from Ren and Stimpy.

Donna Summer- Bad Girls was also the first thing I thought of. Rihanna-Good Girl Gone Bad would also be a good choice. And I like the idea of the Runaways-Cherry Bomb being the pick.

Wagner’s Ride of the Valkyries
Wesley Willis’s cover of Duran Duran’s Girls on Film
The music from the MST3K movie “Girl with Gold Boots”
XTC “Brainiac’s Daughter”
Most likely, it should be some strange danceable 30th century music using instruments that haven’t been invented yet.

Hm, lets see… lots of stuff from the last Britney Spears album, Nicki Minaj, Uffie, early Madonna, Chic, Shampoo, something trippy like Silver Apples, Suicide, Spacemen 3, Captain Beefheart is always good, Pretty Girls Make Graves, maybe some Detroit Cobras, and Plasmatics, Girlschool (or Gallhammer) for metal.
Oh, and Paramore! Love me some Paramore.
Rihanna, B-52s, and Madness are excellent choices.
Specific songs that I would definitely squeeze in:
Showgirls – Foolin’ Around
Nicola Roberts – Beat Of My Drum
Kamp! – Cairo
Class Actress – Keep You
Flight Facilities feat. Jess – Foreign Language
Ronika – Forget Yourself
Sky Ferreira – 99 Tears
Gang Gang Dance – Mindkilla
The Internet – Cocaine

Or I could just play the soundtrack from this movie. That should be appropriate.
