Name That Doctor Strange Artist!

Every week, I will be sharing four panels featuring a comic book character. They will each be drawn by four separate pencilers. I will be featuring only pieces of art where the penciler did full pencils (as otherwise it would be way too difficult). Your challenge is to, simply put, name that artist!

E-mail me your guesses to bcronin@comicbookresources.com. Do NOT make guesses in the comments section! When I post the new challenge, I’ll post the correct answers for the previous on the archive page along with whoever guessed them correctly. You don’t have to name the issues the panels came from, but if you’d like to, knock yourself out.

Read on for the four panels featuring Doctor Strange…

Remember, don’t answer in the comments section. E-mail me your guesses at bcronin@comicbookresources.com.

Good luck and have fun!

They were all draw by Rob Granito. ;-)

This was a good week to finish off my Dr Strange Masterworks collection. Number 4 is going to be a tough one.

Really? Number 4 is the only one I knew, because the artist’s style is so distinctive.

#1 and #3 are both Dan Adkins, right? I think #4 is Jackson “Butch” Guice, but I’m not sure

Have to admit, I read that title as Name That Doctor, Strange Artist!

They’re all Ernie Bushmiller. Or should be.

Answers sent.

It is SO, SO, SAD that I knew them all – pretty much on sight.
Or, at least I knew the ISSUES of all of them on sight (but only 3 of the 4 artists off my head)

Why can’t I use this stupid memory power on something that is worthwhile… like counting cards and 3-card monty.

The first one is Vincent Price…
The second is Dabney Coleman…
The third is Errol Flynn…
and the fourth…Charles Bronson.

Oh, I don’t care WHAT the real answers are… “Another Ian” gets my vote for contest winner.
