Awesome Cabin in the Woods Piece

I saw this on Alice Lin’s website. She did a hilarious job envisioning the recent film, Cabin in the Woods, as a Choose-Your-Own-Adventure book…

You sort of have to know the movie to get the joke. Still, an excellent piece by Lin. You can check out her site here.

“He had the conch in his hands.”

As a fan of the Choose Your Own Adventure books, I could definitely see this happening. Somebody get Whedon on the horn and lets make it happen; if only to get the merman monster or any other creature to chase the “Scooby gang”. ;P

That’s a great concept. I enjoyed the books as a child and would totally read a C.I.T.W version.

I really enjoyed “The Avengers” and “The Dark Knight Rises”, but the movie I’ve had the most fun at this year (or the last several years) was “Cabin”. The fact that a Lovecraftian/Slasher/Conspiracy horror film that was actually very funny even got made still blows my mind.

@Robert Eddleman – yeah that line always cracks me up. The look of disappointment on his face, good stuff!

I’m guessing every single one of those 35 endings is horrible. For the characters, I mean. Cabin was great and ended great.

Unicorn, dammit!

If this was real,

And @toozin, I’m sure there’s at least one ending where the old gods are appeased and the world survives.

Thanks everyone! I appreciate all the kind comments :) I’m planning on releasing this as a limited edition giclee in the near future. Cheers! -alice.
