4. Best Toy – Scoliosis Superman
Poor Superman clearly has a very dangerously curved spine, at least according to this toy he does. I see this extreme arch of his back and all I can think is “that man is going to slip a disc next time he lifts something heavy.” Personally, I always assumed that Superman’s superior musculature would give him near-perfect posture, but according to this figure he arches his back quite aggressively. He contrasted nicely with the stylized, super-blocky little Justice League nearby, all straight lines and sharp corners.

I never dreamed Max was so hairy. Is that a parademon Barda is standing on, or Etrigan?

It’s really annoying to page through this many pages when the individual entires are as short as this, guys. It’s why I don’t visit Newsarama much anymore.

Hey, this isn’t a Max Lord pinup… Is a Max Lord and G’nort pinup.

Well a Max Lord and G’nort’s hide pinup really…

Eurgh, more multipage articles. Are you really that desperate for pageviews?

Hey, you got a creeper shot of my alien costume! haha

Hey Emily, my photos are all up on my Flickr now, so if you want to comment on the one you’re in, I’ll put a credit in there for you. Thanks for making the effort and looking so good!

Do you have a link to your Flickr account?

Sorry Emily! It’s http://www.flickr.com/photos/secretbean/sets/72157632943724113/. I’m half asleep, meant to post the link there.

Surprised that Neil Gibson’s Twisted Dark booth poster isn’t mentioned. It was particularly impressive!
As I rounded one corner, the haunting smiling face hit me like a ton of bricks. I simply couldn’t stay away. The books are mightily good value – $5 for a whole graphic novel! Insanely good!
