The Greatest Lex Luthor Stories Ever Told! – Voting

Here’s the latest of the daily voting threads for The Greatest ____ Stories Ever Told!

Today we look at Lex Luthor, Superman’s arch-nemesis!

You have until 11:59 PM Pacific time, April 4th to vote for your top ten favorite Lex Luthor comic book stories! Your choices will be revealed on April 5th.

You vote by sending your top ten choices to bcronin@comicbookresources.com (make the subject heading clear that it is about The Greatest Lex Luthor Stories Ever Told Voting) by that time (you send your votes by e-mail, not in the comments to this piece. I repeat DO NOTE VOTE IN THE COMMENTS SECTION OF THIS PIECE).

Be sure to first click here to read about the rules and guidelines for the voting (so you don’t vote for stuff that is ineligible).

I’d prefer you not share your votes in the comments section – please let’s keep it a surprise until the results go up. You can share your votes then if you’d like!

Have fun voting and be sure to check back April 5th to see the results!

Is there any criteria for this topic (aside from the universal rules) other than “it has to have Lex Luthor in it”? Does it still count if he’s not in every issue of the arc (like Birthright or For All Seasons, both of which heavily featured him as the main villain).

Also, this topic is awesome, BTW.

Soooo excited to research this one.

I think before anyone (else) votes there should probably be some clarification about something, namely how we should vote for All-Star Superman.

How exactly should we separate the Lex stories in it? Because the Top 10 Lois Lane Stories list has just #2-3 rather than the whole mini, so I’m assuming we should use individual sub-plots for the Lex Luthor parts of it as well?

For the record, Lex is featured in two sub-plots: “The Gospel According to Lex Luthor” from #5 (where Clark goes to prison with Lex and Parasite goes on a rampage after absorbing energy from the undercover Clark Kent) and #11-12 (the final two issues where Lex cheats [the] death [penalty] and wrecks the crap out of Metropolis before being punched in the face by Superman).

I’d say #5 and #11-12 are two stories. And that IS how most people have been voting for them, which is good (for me, at least).
