EXCLUSIVE: Warren Ellis Brings "Genius Storytelling" to Dynamite's "James Bond 007"
Every week, I will be sharing with you three comic book “easter eggs.” An easter egg is a joke/visual gag/in-joke that a comic book creator (typically the artist) has hidden in the pages of the comic for readers to find (just like an easter egg). They range from the not-so-obscure to the really obscure. So come check ‘em all out and enjoy! Also, click here for an archive of all the easter eggs featured so far! If you want to suggest an easter egg for a future column, e-mail me at email@example.com (do not post your suggestion in the comments section!).
Today we have three easter eggs suggested by good ol’ Travis Pelkie, including two from Hoax Hunters’ back-ups and one from Dynamite’s Prophecy!
From Dynamite Entertainment’s Prophecy #2, we get the credits on the comic from three inmates in an asylum for the criminally insane, writer Ron Marz, penciler/inker Walter Geovani and colorist Adriano Lucas…
In a back-up in Hoax Hunters #8, Steve Bryant and Jason Millet show us Gerber’s Crossing, where a number of sorta recognizable swamp creatures live…
In a back-up in the previous issue of Hoax Hunters, in the Beef Jams feature, writers Marc Koprinarov and Dave Landsberger and artists Greg & Fake Petre have the Yellow Kid show up…
If YOU folks have easter eggs you’d like to see featured, drop me a line at firstname.lastname@example.org!
