The Greatest G.I. Joe Stories Ever Told! – Voting

Here’s the latest of the daily voting threads for The Greatest ____ Stories Ever Told!

Today we look at G.I. Joe titles!

You have until 11:59 PM Pacific time, April 16th to vote for your top ten favorite G.I. Jor comic book stories! Your choices will be revealed on April 17th.

You vote by sending your top ten choices to bcronin@comicbookresources.com (make the subject heading clear that it is about The Greatest G.I. Joe Stories Ever Told Voting) by that time (you send your votes by e-mail, not in the comments to this piece. I repeat DO NOTE VOTE IN THE COMMENTS SECTION OF THIS PIECE).

Be sure to first click here to read about the rules and guidelines for the voting (so you don’t vote for stuff that is ineligible, like you can’t vote for “Larry Hama’s G.I. Joe run.” You have to pick a specific story or story arc.).

I’d prefer you not share your votes in the comments section – please let’s keep it a surprise until the results go up. You can share your votes then if you’d like!

Have fun voting and be sure to check back April 17th to see the results!

Aside from the typo in the post, the Master List also says “What If…?” instead of “G.I. Joe”.

Which was the one where they fought COBRA? That’s my favorite.

Y’know, several years back, I would have giggled at the notion of this list.

Now, having read most of the Marvel run thanks to the IDW collections and the liberry, I am glad to say that GI Joe was a damn good book that juggled a wide cast and made most of them interesting, with a lot of done-in-one stories.

I’ve got a notion what will be #1, of course.

Larry Hama’s GI Joe run is one of my top 10 and it still holds up today, in my opinion. That said, I’m going to have a tough time narrowing a list down. I’ll have to start flipping through my back issues.

G.I. Jor

Didn’t you hear about the Superman/GI Joe crossover, TB? GI Jor-El? That’s what Brian’s referring to, man. There are no typos here!
