The Great Comic Book Cover Homage Streak: Week 32

It occurs to me that it seems like many comic book covers are homages. Which is fine with me. I have no problem with it. It just made me think, though, how long could I go before I hit a week where NO new comic book was released that had a cover that was an homage to something? Let’s find out! Here is an archive of all the cover homages featured in the streak so far!

This week, we’ll go with Al Jaffee’s cover for Superman #19, which is homaging Joe Shuster’s Action Comics #1 cover.

Thirty-two weeks down! Will we make it to week thirty-three?

OK, I want a THE LINE IT IS DRAWN “Snappy Answers to Stupid Questions” week.

I would have suggested that DC do it company-wide, but I suspect that one issue is (more than) enough for them.

It has been a while since I found a comic cover to be so funny. Me like :)

I second the need for a “Snappy Answers to Stupid Questions” week!!

He’s trying to Fold-In your sedan! Maybe it’ll look like something funnier.
