You Decide: Who Is Your Favorite Member of Brian Wood’s X-Men Team?

The latest CBR poll is crazy close. Earlier today, the top four choices literally had the following percentages:

Here is the poll so you can vote for your favorite member of Brian Wood’s X-Men team.

There. Broke your tie for you. YOU’RE WELCOME.

It’s crazy. Storm has taken the lead but even then, the #2-3-4 are seriously separated by 0.2 points! 18.7%, 18.6% and 18.5%!

Plus, Jubilee and Rachel Grey are literally TIED for last place! That is nuts! Polls are never this close!

Is it because so far the characters are practically interchangeable?

(I kid, I kid. I liked the book ok, but I didn’t see where any one of them had an interesting enough moment to make the fanbase latch on to one particular character as the leading favorite.)

You don’t have to base them on the issue itself. It can just simply be which character you like best in general.

Ah. Reading comprehension and me: a work in progress.

Actually, if the CBR poll is pretty representative of comics fans in general, then Wood (and his editors, I presume) did a nice job of putting together a team that a lot of people like. Or that everyone likes them all nearly equally. Or something.

Math analysis and me: also a work in progress.

I used to be smart, I swear!

Kitty Pryde fans, it’s your move.

I honestly can’t even make a decision on this one. I love all these characters so much. I know why a lot of people don’t like Jubes (she went from being super-’90s to inexplicably a vampire) even though I love her, but I would say Rachel is only at the bottom because a lot of people don’t know who she is. De-aged or alternate version or whatever, I’m an “Excalibur” fan, so I LOVE Rachel.

It’s insane to have such a dream-cast book that my least favorite is probably Storm, because Storm is great. Especially mohawk-Storm.
