People what is with this John Constantine love fest? Did any of you read Hellblazer? He use to get his ass kicked by regular people on the street. Over Robin……really

was there any doubt batman would get beat by huntress for he is the batman. Constatine beating robin interesting had robin kicking johns butt . hawkman had him giving luthor a nth metal skull pounding. guess luthors brains are more power then hawkmans brawn. night wing not surprised for after all he learned from batman

With 30 minutes of preparation, he would manipulate someone else to fight for him. What would Robin do against Swamp Thing?

I’m not proud of myself, but I keep voting for Constantine…between the 30-minute prep and the fact that John has access to unpredictable arcane materials, plus a history against last-minute upsets against decidedly non-street level adversaries (like the devil)…I just keep begrudgingly giving it to the Hellblazer.

Plus there’s always the chance John persuades his opponent to become his friend/ally, which is the kiss of death for any character.

I’ve been assuming this is the DC52 version of Constantine, who hangs with superheroes and doesn’t spend much of his time in grittily realistic circumstances.

Even the old Constantine was only vulnerable when caught by surprise. If he could prepare beforehand he could defeat gods and demons and (supposedly) superheroes.

Yeah – John’s tricky. Don’t underestimate him.
