What a great idea, and a fun list to pick from! The only major omission I can see in these brackets is David Hasselhoff as Nick Fury…although that may be for the best. ; )

My “problem” there was that if I included Nick Fury, I’d have to include pretty much every Agents of SHIELD cast member, ya know? I did consider it, though!

Any chance that every pairing could feature pictures?

I showed love to the Birds of Prey actresses, because I’ve actually seen that show. I don’t know that any will make the next round, though.

And boy, the Generation X people have no chance. I mentioned that the first couple I saw had them against Adam West and George Reeves, and then another against Lynda Carter? Poor Generation X, no love at all for them!

And here’s me likely being thick – what’s the ‘regions’ business all about? And why are the questions numbered in an unlikely order? Thanks.

@ Martin Gray:

It is modeled on the NCAA Men’s Basketball tournament. The round of 64 is played in four locations, or ‘regions’. The strongest teams are paired against the weakest, so that the best games (should) come later.

Thanks so much Dean, think I’d better bow out, I’ll probably cock things up by not understanding the nuances of US sports! British sport is confusing enough :)

You don’t need to know sports! Sports just inspired the bracket format. The voting is just you picking whoever you like best!

Martin Gray- I don’t follow sports, either. All I know about this “March Madness” stuff is what I’ve learned from various online versions, such as this one. All you need to do here is vote for the actor/character combination you like best. You really don’t need to understand the way it’s set up (although, as it goes on, you might find yourself understanding it better).

Oh, that I can manage!

Brian, out of curiosity, did you leave out Gotham because the characters destined to become superheroes are too much in their larval phase (though Selina Kyle is basically just a whip away from being Catwoman at this point) or because you (understandably, most would argue) forgot the show existed?

Are there any superheroes on Gotham? I mean, iZombie and Lucifer aren’t represented either.

Yeah, I don’t think any of them really count as superheroes outside of obviously Bruce Wayne, but he’s still just a kid.
