In honor of Batan’s new movie, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, opening this weekend, we decided to spotlight past editions of Comic Book Legends Revealed that has featured Batman over the years!
Check them all out below!
Did Orson Welles really plan on doing a Batman film during the 1940s?
Did Batman actually carry shark repellent on his utility belt in the comics?
Did Frank Miller almost work on a Year One Batman movie where Batman was a cab driver?
Was Robin nearly in Grant Morrison and Dave McKean’s Batman: Arkham Asylum?
Did Batman and Superman begin to team-up due to inflation?
Which surprising comic book artist inspired the creation of the female Robin, Carrie Kelley?

Did the sequel to Batman: The Cult become a Punisher mini-series, instead?
Was a solicited issue of Gotham Knights pulled because it was too graphic?
Was DC paid by the government to do an anti-drug storyline in Shadow of the Bat?
Did Batman originally wear PURPLE gloves?
Did Batman almost start carrying guns in the comics in the 1960s?
Did Frank Miller try to change his inker on The Dark Knight Returns midway through the project?

What was Yvonne Craig’s final Batgirl appearance?

Was Wendy on Super Friends nearly Batman’s niece?
How did the Playboy Club help get the Batman TV series on the air in the 1960s?
Did Bob Kane try to pass a Tod McFarlane Batman drawing as his own?
Did John Cale and Lou Reed of he Velvet Underground used to dress up as Batman and Robin for birthday parties before their band hit it big?
How did Batman editor Denny O’Neill respond to the infamous “bat-Credit Card” scene from Batman and Robin?
Did the Comics Code force Batman to wear pants on the cover to Batman #244?
Did the U.S. government cancel the 1960s Batman TV series?
Did fan reaction cut down on Azrael’s tenure as Batman?
Was Talia Al Ghul based on a Bond Girl?
You may want to fix “Tod McFarlane”. Also, one item is strange because it seems to give out half the game:
“How did the budget constraints of the first Batman film serial lead to the creation of the Batcave?”
Why isn’t it phrased “Did the budget constraints …” like the others, or “Was the Batcave created due to budget constraints on the first Batman film serial?” — Just curious.
