You Decide
You Decide: Which Sci-Fi TV/Film Franchise Has Been Adapted Into Comics the Best?
With the release of Star Trek this week, I thought it’d be interesting to see what TV/film franchise you folks think was adapted best into comics…
You Decide: Who is the Definitive Iron Man Writer?
Oops, I forgot to link to our latest You Decide poll last week!
Here it is, for Iron Man 3, who is the definitive Iron Man writer?
You Decide: Which DC Character Has Been Translated Best Into the WB’s Arrow?
This week, our question is about the new TV series Arrow. It has done different versions of a lot of different DC Comics characters. Which one do you think they’ve done the best job with?
You Decide: Weekly Reviews
Since out Before Watchmen review series ended with Chad’s retirement, I thought it might be interesting to do something similar by myself with other ongoing titles. You know, regular, somewhat in depth reviews of ongoing titles.
I’ll start in May (conveniently enough, May 1st is a Wednesday). I figure I’ll start with four titles and maybe expand (or contract) as I go along. Anyhow, I also figured that you folks can pick the four titles. So e-mail me at bcronin@comicbookresources.com what four ongoing titles that you’d like to see me cover.
Top four vote-getters will be the books I feature.
You Decide: Who is the Definitive Superman Artist?
We’ve done the writer list and now for Superman’s 75th Anniversary, we ask the same question about his artists: Who is the most definitive Superman artist?
Joe Shuster’s ghosts were omitted due to space issues (guys like Leo Nowak, John Sikela and Jack Burnley).
You Decide: Who is the Definitive Superman Writer?
In honor of Superman’s 75th Anniversary, we just did a poll on who you think is the definitive Superman writer of all-time. I went with pretty much every writer who had extensive runs on the character (plus writers who wrote especially notable shorter stories). Since I had to keep the list relatively short, I omitted the writers from the so-called “lost decade” of 1948-58. No offense to the fine work that Bill Woolfolk, Don Cameron, Alvin Schwartz and Bill Finger did in those years.
You Decide: Do Think It is a Good Idea to Add Carrie Kelly to the “Regular” DC Universe?
DC made major news last week when they revealed that Carrie Kelly, from Frank Miller’s Dark Knight Returns, was making her “regular” DC Universe debut in Batman and Red Robin #19.
Do you think that it is a good idea to add Kelly to the DC Universe?
You Decide: Should DC Have Re-Numbered Detective Comics at #900?
I forgot to post this last week.
This time around, we ask whether you think DC should have re-numbered Detective Comics at #900 with its 990th issue (well, technically it would be 901 if you count #0)?

You Decide: What Was the Best Done-in-One Joker-Centric Story?
When we decided to do a poll on Joker-centric stories, we figured it would be better to avoid one-shots because we knew that the Killing Joke would likely dominate. Once we got the multi-issue vote out of the way, though, we thought, “What the heck, let’s see what people think about the done-in-ones as well!”

Read on for a more detailed list of the nominees (as once again, there’s not a lot of room in the poll for information)!
