"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" Trailer Officially Released
Aliye’s death, and its echoes, had been stilled by the greater horror of this mother’s death, which burned inside him like a smothered coal in the silence there. But Aliye had started dying from the moment his mother told him that they were not to marry, in spite of the bey’s gracious visit, in spite of the fine carpet, in spite of the words he has whispered to Aliye and which he had thought were true words. He knew then how it must end for her, though his mother said it would be otherwise. He wished that there were one fixed thing in the world that would never change, or disappoint him, or leave him, but he did not know what that might be, unless it was the idea of God, which was a certitude without delight or consolation. (Starling Lawrence, from Montenegro)
“It’s all right. Keep right on lying to me. That’s what I want you to do.” (Ernest Hemingway, from A Farewell To Arms)

With your temperament you might either hate Christians or become a Christian immediately. I recognize, while yawning, the truth of what they say. We are mad. We are hastening to our doom, something unknown is coming toward us, something is dying around us – agreed! But life exists for itself alone, not for death.” (Henryk Sienkiewicz, from Quo Vadis)
I’m sure you can’t resist a title like that!

I asked for things more worthy of linkage, and the comics internet responded! Truly, I am King of the Intertubes.
Also, I like this QUESTION OF THE WEEK business, so I’ll try to keep this up. This week’s: Which comic character do you find completely uninteresting, no matter who writes or draws him/her? And (a two-parter!) what would make you change your mind about them?
Seven more days have passed us by, and it’s time for another foray into the series of tubes that is the comics internet! If you’re itching for dumb puns and wordplay with lots of links to cool stuff, look no further!
